Safeguarding in Sport

Safeguarding in Sport is a blended learning course, which is current and relevant specifically to your sport. This course will help people understand  the need for education around safeguarding, with a focus on  how you can stay safe and of course keep your players and athletes safe. Learning is split between a face to face session followed by an online module and uses a range of case studies, and different approaches to learning to ensure that the content is accessible to all candidates. At the end of the course learners will:

  • have an overview of what it means to keep a young person safe
  • understand DBS checks and what they entail
  • think about how to supervise young people safely
  • understand the best way to transport young people
  • understand the importance of following correct reporting procedures
  • start to create and update an action plan

The course will culminate in an assessment, which will see you awarded with a certificate and CPD points on successful completion.

We create this course in partnership with interested organisations so please register your interest below and we will be in touch!
