Mental Health and Well-Being in Sport Level 1
During this online workshop you will have the opportunity to reflect and consider what you know about well-being. What is it, and why is it important?  What is well-being not?
We will focus on two approaches that can help enhance well-being in individuals: gratitude and positive relationships, including responses sports leaders can give to maximise well-being. We will also talk about key behaviours sports leaders can demonstrate to enhance well-being. While the concept of well-being is applicable across a variety of environments (such as business, health and education), the focus here is on sport, so we will look at sport specific situations and scenarios and consider the impact that poor (and positive) well-being has had, specifically on the world of sport and athletes/ players.Â
These sessions will culminate in an assessment, which will see you awarded with a certificate and CPD points on successful completion.Â
